El Rancho 31 Pioneer 13

El Rancho High School cruised to a victory over the visiting Pioneer Titans with the score of 31-13. The Large Homecoming crowd watched the Dons open up the game with 2 quick strikes to go up 12-0. On the 2nd play from scrimmage Mark Lopez broke for an 80 yard TD to put up ER 6-0, the PAT was blocked. On Pioneer’s 1st offensive possession, Mark Lopez intercepted a Daniel Castro pass and returned it for a TD. Late in the game, Steve Gomez Intercepted Daniel Castro’s pass to put the Dons up for good with a score of 31-13. Before the game, the El Rancho Homecoming crowd was entertained by a 1980′s ERHS Alumni Drumline, ERFOOTBALL.COM brings you the footage in the following clip.
