2011 – Week 0 – El Rancho vs Los Altos
The El Rancho Dons open up their 2011 campaign vs the Los Altos Conquerors who head into the season coming off an 0-10 2010 campaign. Our Dons head into this season coming off a 6-5 campaign which saw the Dons eliminated in the 1st rd of the 2010 CIF playoffs vs the Burroughs Indians. The Dons head into the season with high expectations for a 2011 Del Rio League Championship. Leading the way for El Rancho will be the RB tandem of Ronnel Lone and Joshua Lopez. Both RB are 3 year players and should be the go to guys for the Ranch this season. Jr Joey Sanchez will lead the way at QB, he will be going both ways and will play DB on defense. Last season the Ranch romped Los Altos 41-0 to open up the season.

El Rancho 33 Fontana 14
Led by a Potent running game and stingy secondary, the El Rancho Dons defeated the Fontana High School Steelers 33 to 14. El Rancho scored on its first 3 possesions behind the legs of Andrew Romero and Ronnel Lone. On Defense El Rancho was led by DB Freddy Garcia who had 2 interceptions, along with the return of Leonard Balwin who returned an Interception for a TD, Mark Lopez also had an interception. El Rancho now improves to 4-1 and is set to begin its quest for a Del Rio League Championship vs the 4-1 La Serna Lancers. This 4-1 start is the best Start the Dons have had since the 2000 Campaign where the Greg Setlich led Dons started the season 6-0. This game vs La Serna very well could be the deciding game for the Del Rio League Championship!
