What a tremendous interview with Coach, I personally like coach’s demeanour and fore thought. I guess it all gets started May 11, can’t wait.

As a parent’s point of view the most powerful part of the interview was the academic aspect. Here we are fortunate because we don’t just have a football coach that loves football but one who loves and knows the important aspect of higher learning. In addition on how to get there and is just as involve in getting his players ready for college as he is getting them ready a Friday night game. El Rancho the great ones show up every now and then, here we have one who totally cares for kids in general and those kids this time are ours, it’s about time.

Coach Rick is truly marketing his players, point; Marcus Galan was on a team that did not make the playoffs. Rick still found him a spot and a free ride. Coach knows that grades, talent are more important than wins when it’s all said and done. That is when you have a coach like Zepeda.

Great interview, I do like the choice with Campos being our new QB or at least that it is his spot to lose. It’s evident he does have the talent on not just getting the job done but excelling at it.

Addressing the big man problem is great. We will have a fair size line with those from the jv but from what I get from the interview El Rancho has not been consistent with large linemen, so Rick is starting earlier on developing them before they get to High School. Sounds like a win, win situation.

Just watched the interview thought it was absolutly fantastic. What Coach Zepeda is doing for these kids is amazing. As Coach Zepeda states in the interview its been 17 years since a ER football player was a recipient of a NCAA scholarship.NOT BECAUSE our kids weren't capable, shoot over the past 17 years there have been some tremendous athletes that have stepped foot on that field. What Coach Zepeda is doing to get our boys to the next level, is what others have failed to do in the past.
